Set in a two-acre grove of old-growth coastal trees, this exquisite landscape design is a study in superlative details and artisan craftsmanship. Santa Barbara sandstone, Italian travertine, and flagstone were chosen for the pool border, pool deck, and wood-burning pizza oven (the centerpiece of a complete outdoor kitchen). One-inch Murano glass mosaic tiles line the spa and pool, and an Italian artisan blacksmith completed the unique metal work throughout the grounds.
This idyllic outdoor living space is completed with German-crafted furnishings made with powder-coated stainless steel, premium-grade teak, and inviting down-filled cushions. The large terraced garden was meticulously designed to contain a handpicked variety of seasonal heirloom vegetables grown from seeds imported from Bergamo, Italy. More than 45 different fruit trees and a 150-vine Sangiovese vineyard surround the main residence, a 1947 Cliff May ranch, and a 1936 redwood guest house set into the side of the canyon facing the Pacific Ocean.
